Red Cliffs National Conservation Area

We are closing out the semester with a easy-moderate loop around Paradise Rim! Afterwards OLA will provide lunch.

About the Trip

The Red Cliffs National Conservation Area is another southern Utah State Park that is part of the bigger organization, Red Cliffs Deserve Reserve. The Red Cliffs Desert Reserve was designed to protect endangered tortoises and other wildlife in Southern Utah. It is managed by BLM, the State of Utah, Washington County, and other local districts. Red Cliffs NCA is only one of many areas within the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve, each consists of unique experiences and outdoor activities. They thrive to teach people about recreation and the importance of protecting public lands while also maintaining areas as free of people as possible in order to protect endangered species. When hiking make sure you follow the Leave No Trace principles and stay on the marked trails.
